about me
Hi! My name is Wania Khan and I am an 19-year-old Pakistani-American creative. Photography has always felt special to me because of how powerful a single moment can be, being able to create something out of nothing. I am constantly in awe of the essence of how with just one click, I can capture a special moment in someone's life. While I have always been interested in photography and the arts, the camera itself is what intrigued me with its various capabilities to create. It wasn't long after, that I fell in love with being the artist who creates and captures the moments. My journey began simply photographing friends and family in high school, never imagining how far it would grow. I officially launched Shoots by Wania, January 2024, and since then I have had the opportunities to work with some of the best couples, seniors, artists and individual's. These experiences showed me just how meaningful this work truly is.
Why I Love What I Do
A big part of why I love what I do is what it brings others. One thing that pushed me when I was learning and continues to push me as I further my work, is the admirable and emotion-filled responses that I receive. Photography, among others, is a form of art that can make people feel a range of emotions. I believe every person carries their own unique beauty and story, and my goal is to let that shine through naturally, in genuine smiles, quiet in-between moments, and emotions you can feel when you look back at your photos. Whether it's feeling powerful in your presence in a solo shoot, feeling loved in a couple or family shoot, or feeling accomplished by a brand or senior shoot, I am here to make it happen!

From communicating about the aesthetic and creating mood boards to helping pick out locations and posing I'm here to make your vision come true.
